About OutliantOutliant is a fully-remote, US-based digital product development and startup consulting company that builds seamless digital products for a culturally diverse set of clients.Our teams value excellence, startup mentality, and world-class remote collaboration, fostering a culture of creativity, growth, and autonomy.About the RoleWe're looking for a Tech Lead to join the Winona Engineering team and guide the entire technical lifecycle for assigned projects.The role requires a trusted advisor with a broad skill set, able to tackle complex challenges, innovate solutions, and manage independent project execution.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical direction, making key decisions on architecture, frameworks, and tools.Mentor and coach engineers through regular 1:1 meetings and code reviews.Escalate technical and HR issues proactively to the Engineering Manager and HR Director.Promote and maintain a healthy, safe, and collaborative work environment.Collaborate daily with engineers, contributing hands-on coding and implementation.Ensure code quality via rigorous reviews, pair programming, and adherence to best practices.Work cross-functionally with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into scalable technical specifications.Troubleshoot complex issues during development and deployment.Develop and implement a comprehensive technical strategy aligned with product vision and business goals.Evaluate trade-offs between speed, scalability, and technical complexity to shape product and engineering decisions.Lead the technical team in architecture, design, and delivery of high-quality scalable software solutions.Champion industry best practices, consistent coding standards, and process improvements.Identify and implement innovative solutions for complex functionalities and system requirements.Break down technical challenges into clear, actionable tasks and prioritize workload.Foster collaboration and peer learning through team-level support.Resolve technical conflicts and bottlenecks proactively.Monitor emerging technology trends and assess their applicability to improve development processes.Qualifications6+ years of software development experience, including 1–2 years in a technical lead or equivalent role.Proven experience delivering technical projects from inception to completion.Mastery of programming languages, frameworks, and tools relevant to the role (e.g., ReactJS, Javascript, AWS, PostgreSQL, Nuxt.js).Strong experience using and working with Contentful, Webflow, and WordPress.Deep understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and agile development methodologies.Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple concurrent projects.Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.Strong leadership, mentorship, and task delegation capabilities.Adaptability to evolving technologies, industry trends, and process improvement initiatives.#J-*****-Ljbffr
