At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place.We're committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that's welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growth.Find your future with us.Boeing Brazil is seeking **Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager**, reporting to the Structures Senior Manager, working out of the **São José dos Campos** office.The **Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager** will join the Structures Design and Stress team and will find leaders to fill multiple spots within our organization.**Position Responsibilities**:- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical & Structural Engineering and Design- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes- Manages, develops and motivates employees- Establish an open, inclusive, and innovative team culture- Lead, develop and engage our people within multiple Engineering disciplines**Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.****Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.- Must have a bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Civil Engineering- Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.- Experience in Engineering design and/or analysis.- Strong execution, communication, and collaboration skills**Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)**:- Experience leading or managing technical teams.- Experience with product integrity and in-service safety, and/or mission assurance- Proven expertise in performing stress analyses and/or developing designs for mechanical systems with movable parts, such as actuators, landing gear, and hydraulic components (e.g. manifolds), while considering manufacturability and production methods.- Experience in leading, coaching and developing others (including those who are not your direct reports)- Strong analytic and research skills - must be detail oriented**Relocation**:**Additional Information**:Please also submit a CV or resume written in English.**Applications for this position will be accepted through October 14th, ******Applications for this position will be accepted until **Oct.15, ********Export Control Requirements**:This is not an Export Control position.**Language Requirements**English Preferred**Education**Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Required**Relocation****Visa Sponsorship**Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.**Shift**Not a Shift Worker (Brazil)**Equal Opportunity Employer**:We are an equal opportunity employer.We do not accept unlawful discrimination in our recruitment or employment practices on any grounds including but not limited to; race, color, ethnicity, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, physical or mental disability, genetic factors, military and veteran status, or other characteristics covered by applicable law.
