About the RoleAs a senior backend developer, you will work remotely on a large financial client project.This opportunity offers a CLT contract with career growth and various market-compatible benefits.You will design and implement prioritized features using best software engineering practices and consistent functional and technical validations throughout the development lifecycle.Your goal is to deliver scalable, flexible, and resilient solutions aligned with modern architectural principles.The ideal candidate will apply and advocate for architectural patterns such as event-driven microservices.You will participate in technical discussions and contribute to the evolution of the product's technical architecture.Additionally, you will integrate internal and external services using RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging, and event hubs.Key Qualifications:Experience in backend development with Java 8+Proficiency with Spring BootStrong experience in developing and deploying microservices in public cloud environments (preferably AWS)Solid knowledge of relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB)Experience with messaging and event streaming systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, SNS)Familiarity with observability best practices (structured logging, metrics, health checks), using tools like DataDogStrong testing practices: unit testing (JUnit), integration and contract testing (Postman/Newman)Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or similarBenefitsThis role comes with a CLT contract, offering career opportunities and various market-compatible benefits.About UsWe are seeking a talented developer to join our team on this exciting project.If you have the skills and expertise required for this role, we encourage you to apply.
