Site Reliability Engineer (Middle) ID*****AgileEngine is an Inc. **** company that creates award-winning software for Fortune 500 brands and trailblazing startups across 17+ industries.We rank among the leaders in areas like application development and AI/ML, and our people-first culture has earned us multiple Best Place to Work awards.Why Join UsIf you're looking for a place to grow, make an impact, and work with people who care, we'd love to meet youWhat You Will DoShift: Monday – Thursday 8AM – 7PM PST (11AM – 10PM EST) with rotating on-call; on-call shifts every 6 weeks, one week primary responder, next week secondaryManage alerts daily, check systems, and elevate issues as neededProvide 24×7 on-call support for critical SaaS eventsBe available for emergencies when team members aren't available or need helpDocument issues and remedial stepsProactively create appropriate monitors in the EKS/K8S ecosystemDeploy to EKS/K8s cluster using Terraform and HelmLearn and maintain existing infrastructure running under Docker SwarmImprove infrastructure health with checks and scriptsMaintain and develop deployment code; automate manual tasksImplement or integrate new technologies in our Cloud InfrastructureCollaborate with other teams to provide the highest level of support and assistanceApply a real customer focus when planning deployments/updates, keeping customer impact front-of-mindWork closely with Support, Customer Success, Migration, and Professional Services teams to provide best-in-class SaaS servicePerform RCA and take corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issuesCreate and assign alert-related actions to the appropriate team after investigationHandle support requests for environment-specific actionsIdentify and provide automation requirements to improve RCAMust Haves2+ years of professional experienceExperience working with DatadogHands-on experience as an AWS Cloud EngineerWorking knowledge of EKS/Terraform/HelmExperience with Docker and Docker SwarmGood understanding of AWS IAM roles and policiesExperience logging and monitoring AWS resources using CloudWatch logsExperience working in a Linux environmentProficient in Bash and/or Python scriptingStrong understanding of web technologies such as REST APIsExperience with monitoring solutions, such as Grafana and PrometheusExcellent oral and written communication skillsCustomer-facing communication skills to explain issues and RCAsExperience in Product/Application Support for SaaS-based productsUnderstanding of APIs, Databases, Systems Architecture, & designDesigning, implementing, and operating in a DevSecOps environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and within a collaborative environmentTechnical aptitude and desire to learn new technologiesUpper-Intermediate English levelNice to HavesExperience with GCP or AzureCertifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or AWS Certified Advanced Networking SpecialtyPerks and BenefitsProfessional growth: Mentorship, TechTalks, and personalized growth roadmapsCompetitive compensation: USD-based compensation and budgets for education, fitness, and team activitiesExciting projects with Fortune 500 enterprises and leading product brandsFlextime: Work from home or office as preferred for optimal work-life balance#J-*****-Ljbffr
