Senior Compliance Consultant

OverviewPlanet Technologies, the Nation's leading Microsoft services provider to the public sector, is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our growing team as a Compliance Consultant.
In this role, you will be supporting impactful projects that benefit our country.Planet Technologies is seeking a Senior Compliance Consultant to assist in the development and delivery of compliance solutions that deliver exceptional client results.
As a subject matter expert and member of our compliance team, you'll align cutting-edge compliance strategies with client needs while contributing to the development and growth of the practice.
This role will serve as a trusted advisor to Planet customers as they seek to balance their operational requirements with their need(s) to demonstrate compliance with one or more formal risk management frameworks.
The Consultant will author (for new systems/environments) and/or augment policies, plans, processes, procedures, plans of action and milestones and other artifacts.
The Consultant will interview customer's personnel, present findings, conduct security assessments of systems/environments, and provide educational material about compliance to customers.
This Consultant role will also provide support and perform other duties as assigned and/or required.
What you have already achievedExperience: 5+ years with various compliance standards including but not limited to CMMC, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), CIS, HIPAA and others as applicable.Education: Bachelors degree in a technology-related field preferred.Certifications: At least 2 certifications in relevant areas (e.g., security, compliance, project management).
In depth knowledge of Microsoft capabilities supporting Compliance within Azure and Office 365 along with Purview Compliance Portal
What you will doAssist in developing and standardizing service offerings aligned with industry trends.Conduct compliance audits, assessments, and gap analyses to identify areas for improvementCollaboratively develop policies and procedures for customers to facilitate adherence to compliance requirements.
