Leading Compliance Specialist

Compliance Lead RoleThis is a compliance lead role that requires strong technical expertise to ensure the achievement and maintenance of SOC 2 compliance in SaaS environments.You will work closely with AI engineers, security leaders, and product managers to build AI-native services delivered at startup speed.We are building an AI-centric operating system for utilities that harnesses AI to better orchestrate customer delight, facilitate power optimization, enhance grid health, and unlock flexibility at scale.The end-to-end process for achieving and maintaining SOC 2 compliance must be led by the selected candidate.Vanta's AI and automation tools will be leveraged to streamline compliance workflows and monitor controls.Continuous monitoring processes must be implemented and overseen to ensure ongoing adherence to SOC 2 requirements.Security and compliance policies, procedures, and documentation must be developed and maintained within our centralized platform.Vanta's Vendor Risk Management solution must be utilized to assess and monitor third-party vendors.Collaboration with external auditors is required to facilitate smooth and efficient SOC 2 audits.Engineering, IT, and product teams must be worked closely with to integrate compliance requirements into SaaS product development and operations.Training sessions for employees on SOC 2 compliance requirements must be conducted.Vanta's reporting features must be used to track compliance metrics and communicate our company's security posture.Staying updated on evolving compliance frameworks and industry best practices is mandatory.Key Requirements:Lead SOC 2 compliance effortsLeverage Vanta's AI and automation toolsImplement continuous monitoring processesDevelop and maintain security policiesAssess and monitor third-party vendorsFacilitate SOC 2 auditsIntegrate compliance requirements into SaaS product developmentConduct employee training sessionsCommunicate security postureStay updated on compliance frameworksAbout This JobWe are seeking a highly skilled individual to fill this critical role, ensuring the highest standards of security and compliance are met across our organization.If you have experience leading SOC 2 compliance initiatives and possess excellent technical knowledge, we encourage you to apply.
