Join us on a mission to build an unparalleled data collection pipeline deployed on AWS, written in Go and Typescript.We are building a customer-facing part of the solution as a Typescript and GraphQL based web application also deployed on AWS.Our architecture is serverless with AWS's Lambda and Terraform for infrastructure management.We're seeking a skilled Back-end (Typescript) Engineer to join our team on a 12-month B2B contract basis.You'll be responsible for:Data processing pipeline qualityProcess optimization for speed and cost efficiencySeamless integration of all pipeline stepsOngoing process improvementCollaboration with frontend engineers, CTO, and principal software engineerMeet aggressive development timelinesOwn complex tasks from concept to completion with high standards of quality under pressureTo be successful in this role you will need:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field5+ years relevant experience in Backend Software EngineeringExperience using Typescript for Backend DevelopmentExperience with other programming languages like Python, Java, C++Business-level English proficiencyMeticulous attention to detailProven ability to thrive in high-pressure environmentsStartup mentalityExcellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong history of delivering high-quality resultsThe ideal candidate will have:Comfortable working with the frontend if requiredDesire to work on different features within our solution and take a generalist roleAble to familiarize themselves with our product quickly to generate new ideasAbility to guide other developersTake on a proactive approachYou can expect from us:Shape the company from the ground up and help us carve our way forwardTogether we'll take our product to market and celebrate together as part of our highly motivated teamA startup environment passionate about quality, problem solving, and building beautiful softwareOur culture values innovation, user needs, and quality above all.
