This role requires strong storytelling ability, visual thinking, and the skill to translate creative ideas into clear, structured briefs suitable for production and content development workflows.Day-to-day responsibilities:Developshort-form video concepts, creative storylines, and scene breakdowns across genres such as drama, comedy, lifestyle, and commercial content.Writeclear, production-ready descriptionsof scenes, including character actions, camera framing, and sound or environmental cues.Createstructured documentationof concepts, ensuring clarity, visual coherence, and emotional consistency.Collaborate with internal creative, production, and quality teams to refine ideas and maintain alignment with content guidelines.Ensureaccuracy, continuity, and realismin narrative flow and shot composition.Manage multiple creative assignments with quick turnarounds while maintaining quality and originality.Requirements:Strong background infilm, video production, or content creation— understanding of visual storytelling, camera work, and editing principles.Excellent command of English with the ability to write visually descriptive and emotionally engaging content.Knowledge ofscreenplay formatting and shot structuring(e.g., INT./EXT., scene timing, transitions).Ability to visualize scenes and translate abstract ideas into practical, shootable concepts.Strong attention to detail, creative judgment, and consistency in tone and pacing.Basic familiarity withstructured writing formats(Markdown, JSON, TSV, or similar) is a plus.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree inFilm Studies, Mass Communication, English, Media Production, or related fields.2+ years of experience increative writing, video production, content development, or screenplay writing.Prior work in short films, advertising content, or storytelling-based projects is highly desirable.Comfortable working under tight timelines with collaborative, cross-functional teams.Preferred Attributes:Passion for storytelling and cinematic content creation.Strong visual and auditory imagination with attention to human detail.Ability to self-direct, manage multiple creative briefs, and maintain high quality under deadlines.Perks of Freelancing With Turing:Competitive compensation based on experience and expertise.Flexible working hours and remote work environment.Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI projects with leading LLM companies.Potential for contract extension based on performance and project needs.Offer Details:Commitments Required : Availability of upto 40 hours per week is preferredEngagement type : Contractor assignment/freelancer (no medical/paid leave)Duration of contract : 2 Weeks inital pilot, could extend.This role will require some overlap with UTC-8:00 (2-5 hrs/day) America/Los_AngelesApplication Process:Shortlisted candidates will be sent an automated analytical challenge .Once you clear the challenge, you will be redirected to a business writing assessment (English) followed by a language proficiency assessment.Once you clear these online assessments, you are ready to goKnow amazing talent?
