**Responsibilities**:
**The Opportunity**
The packaging JR analyst supports all projects and lead low complexity ones, as well as, run laboratory tests and low complexity trials at pilot plant and/or Pep facilities.
**Your Impact**
This role will be responsible for supportting new materials and technologies development, through the below main accountabilities:
- Run trials and Lab analysis of new materials (sutainable and others) in Pep facilities/Laboratories - Accountable
- Development of new testing protocols, as well as, identify new norms and procedures related to new materials under development
- Accountable
- Engage with sector packaging teams to share reports and run Lab analysis - Accountable
- Data inputs into Pep Sustainability tools for specific projects (eg. early stage screening LCA) - Accountable
- Issue low complexity trial reports - Accountable
- Monitor competetitors launches globally, get samples, run analysis, prepare technical reports and keep database updated for global access.
Qualifications:

- Demonstrated self-starter
- Hands on / Curious
- Basic Plastics packaging knowledge
- Basic understanding of packaging materials, machinery, material chemistry
- Ability to develop close working relationships with key functional/sector associates
- Good communication
- Proactive and innovative approach
- Analytical and project management skills
- Distinct Advantage:
- Portuguese-fluent, English-intermediate
- 1 to 3 years working with packaging development, or packaging quality control, or packaging manufacturing
- Deep analytical skills and detail-oriented person
- Ability to understand polymer chemistry & basic properties
- Resilience
- Self learner
