We are seeking a highly qualified and experiencedResident Engineerwho is willing to relocate toAngola.The ideal candidate must be a senior-level engineer with demonstrated expertise in supervising the construction ofwater supply concrete reservoirsor similar infrastructure projects.The Resident Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of the works, in line with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.The successful candidate must have experience overseeing at leastthree similar projects within the last ten yearsand should possess strong oral and written communication skills, effective leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage project teams in a multicultural environment.Qualifications and Requirements:Education:Bachelor's degree inCivil, Hydraulic, or Sanitary Engineeringis required.Apostgraduate degreein the same fields is an added advantage.Experience:Minimum 10 yearsof post-qualification experience in supervising works of similar nature and complexity.At least 5 yearsof experience working oninternationally financed infrastructure projects(e.g., World Bank, African Development Bank, etc.).Proven track recordin the supervision ofwater supply concrete reservoirsor structurally comparable infrastructure.Technical Skills:Proficient in relevant engineering software and general computer applications.Familiarity with international construction standards and supervision methodologies.Regional Experience:Previous work experience inSub-Saharan Africais highly desirable.Prior work inAngolais a strong plus.Language Skills:Proficiency inEnglish(oral and written) is essential.Knowledge of Portugueseis an asset and will be considered favorably.
