Are you a highly skilled Python developer looking for a new challenge?
Our client is seeking an experienced software engineer to join their team as a Python Developer.
This fully remote position will involve collaborating with a U.S.-based team to design and develop APIs and data-driven applications.The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Python-based application and API development, with a strong focus on Django/DRF or Flask expertise.
They will also have a deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as experience with Redis and background workers.Additionally, the successful candidate will have a solid understanding of RESTful API design standards and excellent communication skills.
They will be able to work well as part of a team, share their experiences, and contribute to the continuous improvement of products, technology, and practices.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop APIs and data-driven applications using Python and related technologiesCollaborate daily with data scientists, product owners, team members, API developers, architects, and DevOps engineersMentor other developers and share best practicesImplement testing methodologies to meet quality standardsRequired Qualifications:5+ years' experience in Python-based application and API development with strong Django/DRF or Flask expertiseDeep experience with SQL and NoSQL databasesExperience with Redis and background workersSolid understanding of RESTful API design standardsGood communication skills and ability to discuss previous projectsPreferred Qualifications:Angular experience for frontend (highly desirable)Experience with containerization technologies such as DockerExposure to Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code toolingWe offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
