We are seeking a Tax Specialist to deliver high-quality tax services and contribute to the organization's success.
Responsibilities
Supporting tax planning and simulation activities for IRPJ, CSLL, ICMS, PIS, COFINS, IPI, ISS, etc.
Analyzing tax legislation and monitoring changes to ensure compliance and inform business decisions.
Develop expertise in tax operations and contribute to tax processes; collaborate with stakeholders to support informed business decisions.
Drive the tax workstream in ERP transformation projects with knowledge of Brazilian tax regulations and SAP S/4HANA tax localization.
Assess current ERP tax setups (e.g., Oracle) to define scope, effort, and impact of transitioning to SAP S/4HANA global template.
Interpret tax impacts by analyzing financial statements and results as part of financial planning.
Qualifications
Experience with tax planning, tax operations, and compliance in a corporate environment.
Knowledge of Brazilian tax regulations and related taxes (IRPJ, CSLL, ICMS, PIS, COFINS, IPI, ISS).
Experience with ERP systems and tax localization, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Salary: To be negotiated.
Experience: Experience with fiscal management for food companies (supermarkets), tax substitution.
Preferably with higher education in Accounting and specialization courses in food taxation and wholesale systems.
Experience with fiscal and related areas may be considered.
