Seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecting, deploying, and managing complex enterprise-grade software solutions using AWS.They will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to understand their infrastructure requirements and implementing efficient solutions.Key responsibilities include:Managing and optimizing AWS environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices via tools such as TerraformOwning the design, development, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines - ensuring rapid yet reliable code deploymentsIntegrating security practices into the infrastructure development lifecycle, including network security, identity management, and data protectionEnsuring the achievement of Service Level Indicators (SLIs) via the implementation of effective monitoring systemsExpanding documentation and providing training to ensure clarity and proficient management by othersMonitoring and optimizing cloud spendingRequired skills and qualifications:6+ years of experience in architecting, deploying, and managing complex enterprise-grade software solutions using AWSExtensive experience with CI/CD pipeline optimization via IaC platforms, must be highly knowledgeable of TerraformSolid experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), version control systems (Git), and scripting languages (Python, Bash)Proven site reliability experience achieving SLIs through the definition and implementation of effective monitoring systemsExperience with operational database management in AWS (Aurora MySQL/PostgreSQL)Deep understanding of modern security best practices and a proven track record of implementing secure solutionsDesired Experience:Familiar with New Relic, Loggly, and CloudWatchSkilled in shell scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)Ideal candidate should have excellent English communication skills and a strong aptitude for tackling complex challenges with right-size solutions that mitigate costs while assuring exceptional end-user experiences.
