Transform Legacy Systems into AI-Native FutureWe are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with 5+ years of software development experience to play a foundational part in building the core platform that enables power utilities to shift from legacy systems into an AI-native future.Our client is building an AI-centric operating system for utilities harnessing AI at the enterprise level to orchestrate customer delight, improve grid health, and unlock flexibility at scale.As an AI-Native Platform Software Engineer, you will work closely with AI engineers, security leaders, and product managers to build AI-native services delivered at startup speed.Key Responsibilities:Front-End Development: Build, implement, and maintain front-end applications using modern web technologies.Back-End Architecture & Development: Design, implement, and maintain APIs, services, and distributed systems using cloud-native best practices.Ai Integration: Collaborate with Ai engineers to integrate models, embeddings, and agent services.System Modernization: Transform legacy workflows into modern secure scalable codebases.Security & Compliance: Partner with security leaders to ensure all services adhere to utility-sector regulations implementing secure coding practices by default.Agile Delivery: Deliver features and improvements in cycles measured in weeks balancing speed with reliability.Required Experience:Excellent English communication skills.5+ years of software engineering experience in SaaS or enterprise environments.Strong proficiency in React, Python, and either Golang, Node.js, or Java.Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code in fast-moving teams.Basic proficiency with Ai/ML tooling.Solid understanding of databases, message queues, and distributed architectures.Cloud-native engineering experience.Clear communicator adaptable eager to learn and grow Ai capabilities over time.Strong sense of ownership and accountability in small teams.
