Senior Windows Systems Engineer

Job Title: Windows System AdministratorWe are seeking a seasoned Windows Systems Engineer to join our IT operations team.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing complex Windows environments, troubleshooting system and network issues, and administering core Microsoft infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
Responsibilities include managing and maintaining Active Directory, including user and group administration, OU structure, and permissions.Configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Windows-based services such as DNS, DHCP, DFS, and GPOs.Performing root-cause analysis and resolving issues related to authentication and system performance.Diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues within a Windows environment.Collaborating with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems as needed.Required Skills and QualificationsEssential Qualifications:Proven experience in Windows system administration.Strong knowledge of Active Directory and related services.Proficiency in managing DNS, DHCP, DFS, and GPOs.Solid troubleshooting skills for authentication and performance issues in Windows environments.Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, and IP subnetting.Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.Desirable Qualifications:Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MSCE).
Experience with remote desktop support tools.Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell is a plus).
