As a Engineering Manager I, you lead a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that drive the success of our products.
You are responsible for overseeing the development process, ensuring that best practices are followed, and that the team consistently meets both technical and business goals.
You foster a collaborative environment, mentoring your team members and supporting their professional growth.

Our success is their success.In Your Daily Routine, You WillLead and manage a team of software engineers, ensuring timely delivery of features and projectsCollaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and prioritize workEnsure best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integrationMentor and coach engineers, fostering both personal and technical growth within the teamMonitor the team's progress and remove roadblocks to maintain project momentumFacilitate cross-functional collaboration to align engineering efforts with business goalsOversee the technical design and architecture of systems and applications within your team's scopeImplement and promote a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to improve development processes and toolsManage team performance and provide feedback through regular performance reviewsStay current with industry trends and technologies, ensuring the team is utilizing the best tools and practices You must be aware that joining Housecall Pro means:Building a product that really improves users' lives (70k users, 4.6 rates at App Store) - let's see what clients say about the product;Being a part of a global team that build a diverse culture in our companyWorking with more than 200 engineers highly qualified and engaged in improving the life of our Pros.Having a real impact on technical decisions without breaking through the corporate, glass ceiling;Being in direct contact with the community of users, who are eager to share their feedback;Rapidly growing teams that create a defined career path.We think that this offer is for you if you: 6+ years of experience in software engineering 2+ years in a people leadership or management role Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and processes (i.e., Agile, Scrum) Expertise with either React or Ruby on Rails (Both a plus) Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks (i.e., JavaScript, Python, Node.js, React) Experience with version control systems (i.e., Git) and CI/CD pipelines (i.e., Jenkins, CircleCI) Proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within scope Hands-on coding as part of your daily routineAnd Also, You Get Extra Points For Strong leadership and team-building skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to balance technical depth with business objectives A proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation Ability to mentor and inspire a diverse team of engineersOkay, okay, you need something to pay the bills, right?
