Accounting Analyst-Argentina

PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR RESUME IN ENGLISHReporting to the Assistant Controller, the Accounting Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies, contributing to the preparation of consolidated financial statements and performing all transactional accounting activities in a project accounting context.This includes implementing procedures and work practices to enhance the performance and efficiency of the department.ResponsibilitiesActively contributes to month-end and year-end closing processes across multiple entities including bank reconciliations, AP and AR closing, month-end entries, accounts revaluation, cost center allocations, inter-company reconciliations and analysis to document and support balance sheet accounts.Prepares month-end entries including prepaid expenses, accruals, and depreciation.Ensures that month-end activities are carried out in full and within prescribed deadlines.Collaborates with external accounting firms across multiple countries to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local regulations.Shares detailed financial data to support proper local booking, and review financial statements prepared externally to ensure alignment with internal records for accurate global consolidation.Performs a detailed analysis of the trial balance at the end of each month to identify abnormal deviations and performs the necessary analysis to justify them or make appropriate corrections.Develops and implements working procedures and practices for the team respecting current accounting standards to speed up processing, minimize errors, ensure compliance with deadlines and document internal processes, in conjunction with the implementation of new IT tools.Provides support to the payroll, treasury, AP&AR team, ensuring compliance with contracts, supplier conditions and corporate policies and different local regulations.Prepares various management reports for different sector managers (CRO, finance, HR, admin, clinic, etc.).Prepares government remittance reports.Employee may be assigned to other responsibilities that do not pertain to their former description, if they have the required experience, are qualified and/or have received adequate training.RequirementsEducationBachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.ExperienceCPA Accounting title or CPA student/candidate in the process of certification.3-5 years of experience in accounting or similar role.Experience with a large multinational company in a growth environment is a plus.Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and basic knowledge of international accounting requirements.Experience with Infor FSM or other large ERP systems, with experience in consolidation.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Power Point, and Word.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills.Energetic, detail-oriented, autonomous, responsible, and positive attitude.Solid communication skills (oral and written) in English.Our CompanyAt Indero, you will work with brilliant and driven colleagues.Our values are collaboration, innovation, reliability and responsiveness.We offer a stimulating work environment and attractive advancement opportunities.The work environmentIn this position, you will be eligible for the following perks:Flexible work schedulePermanent full-time positionCompany benefits packageOngoing learning and developmentAbout InderoIndero is a contract research organization (CRO) specialized in dermatology and rheumatology.Since its beginnings in ****, our organization has benefited from a solid reputation for the quality of its research and services exceeding the expectations of its clients.Based in Montreal, Indero continues to grow and expand in North America and Europe.Indero is committed to providing equitable treatment and equal opportunity to all individuals.As such, Indero will provide accommodations throughout the recruitment and selection process to applicants with disabilities, upon request.Indero only accepts applicants who can legally work in Argentina.#J-*****-Ljbffr
