Senior Open Finance Analyst

Your Mission

Our team is responsible for structuring, building and delivering high impact data projects for Monee business in Brazil. We work in a dynamic environment, with many opportunities for relevant deliveries to grow our products.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

• Analyze consumer-permissioned financial data (accounts, transactions, credit, investments) sourced via Open Finance APIs.
• Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models to track KPIs related to Open Finance adoption and performance.
• Build data solutions automation and optimization, design pipelines and workflows.
• Partner with product, ops, marketing and other key areas to define data requirements for new Open Finance use cases.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends in consumer financial behavior and product opportunities.
• Support risk, credit, and fraud teams with data insights derived from Open Finance sources.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices.
• Interact with teams from different areas and countries. Work closely with the Singapore Monee team.

What You Need to Take on This Challenge

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, statistics, engineering, mathematics or related fields.
• Relevant years of experience in data analysis, preferably within fintech, banking, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of Open Finance/Open Banking frameworks, APIs, and data-sharing standards.
• Experience with data visualization tools, e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker.
• Experience in ETL/ELT process, pipeline creation on workflows, big data ecosystem (Hive, Spark), data warehousing, data preparation. 
• Advanced English is mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences
• Data-driven, good analytical skills.
• Knowledge on machine learning skills such as data modeling, clustering, features selection, is a plus.
• Experience with SQL or Pyspark languages. Knowledge in Python or R is a plus.
