More Than a Job: A Mission We are looking for a passionate ICC System Designer to shape the next generation of integrated control and communication systems. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, test, and deliver solutions that ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable mobility across urban and intercity networks. This role consists in the delivery of signalling engineering projects or development of signalling product within the Alstom DI&S business unit. The signalling analyst apprentice will learn signalling engineering skills through formal academic learning coupled with structured on the job training this will equip the apprentice for a position in signalling design, product development, project engineering, safety assurance or quality, signalling systems. The apprentice will through the apprentice period assist in the delivery of signalling projects or developments by being assigned to work placements. Your Role, Your Impact
• Design scalable ICC architectures ensuring seamless integration with signaling and control systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to align system interfaces and data flows.
• Ensure reliability and compliance through rigorous validation and verification processes.
• Drive innovation by applying model-based design and simulation tools to optimize performance.
• Promote knowledge sharing and documentation of best practices across project teams. You'll work with sharp, committed teams solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility, ensuring seamless integration of business and technology. What You Bring
• Proficiency in system design using UML or SysML modeling tools.
• Experience with SCADA, PLC, or communication protocols in rail systems.
• Ability to translate functional requirements into robust technical specifications.
• Knowledge of EN 50128 or similar safety standards for rail applications.
• Strong collaboration mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
