Key responsibilities
Are you passionate about advising clients on strategic and financing opportunities? Do you enjoy building long-term relationships and executing complex transactions? Are you able to deliver innovative solutions in a fast-paced, client-focused environment? We're looking for an investment banker to:
• originate and execute Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Debt Capital Markets (DCM) transactions across the Energy, Utilities and Industrials sectors
• create partnerships by increasing the depth and breadth of existing client relationships
• identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive client coverage and sector expertise
• provide strategic advice and financing solutions to corporate clients and financial sponsors
• lead transaction execution, including valuation, financial analysis, due diligence and structuring activities
• collaborate across industry, product and regional teams to deliver integrated client solutions
• prepare and present strategic recommendations and transaction materials to clients and senior stakeholders

Find out more about our program on ubs.com/careercomeback. The team You'll be working in the Global Banking Energy, Utilities & Industrials team in São Paulo. Our team provides strategic advisory and capital markets solutions to corporate clients across the sector. We work closely with industry, product and regional partners to deliver solutions across M&A, equity and debt financing. As part of a global platform, we support clients on some of their most important strategic and capital allocation decisions. Your skills and experience
• ideally 8+ years of experience within Investment Banking, Corporate Finance or related advisory functions
• proven experience originating and executing M&A, ECM and/or DCM transactions
• familiarity with financial modelling, valuation methodologies, due diligence processes and transaction execution
• strong understanding of the Energy, Utilities and/or Industrials sectors
• strong client relationship management and business development skills
• great communicator, whether presenting to clients or senior executives
• able to develop creative solutions to meet client needs and identify cross-product opportunities
• you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use
