Remote/Netherlands 🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time The IT Solution Architect – Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling translates biopharma manufacturing and supply-chain business needs into sustainable, value-driven planning and operations capabilities across our SAP landscape. The role provides deep technical expertise across SAP APO, SAP E-PPDS, PP, MM-PUR to design, build and sustain integrations, custom developments, interfaces, data flows, and production-planning features. He / She will work closely with business process owners, peers from other streams, center of excellence, production planners, solution delivery teams, to ensure that solutions are robust and sustainable, compliant, and aligned with the enterprise architecture. The successful candidate combines strong knowledge of production planning and detailed scheduling, hands-on SAP technical capability with strong solution-architecture judgment, especially in the frame of a transition from APO PPDS to the E-PPDS technology.

Key responsibilities
Solution architecture and technical design ● Own and evolve the technical solution architecture for production planning and detailed scheduling across SAP S/4HANA and SAP APO PP/DS while considering the target enterprise architecture. ● Ensue robustness: Translate business requirements and process needs into scalable, secure and sustainable technical solutions. ● Documentation: Contribute to the quality of the solution documentation from functional & technical documentation to Training materials. SAP S/4HANA and SAP APO SCM PP/DS expertise Deployment and rollout projects ● Shape the future: Prepare, design and deploy future E-PPDS based planning and scheduling solution. ● Deploy: Actively contribute to S/Hana rollout projects within our Healthcare companies within the Forecast to Plan workstreams, from Requirement collection to Hypercare phases. ● Support day to day plan : Provide technical expertise for SAP APO SCM PP/DS, including planning and scheduling processes, planning boards, heuristics, optimizer-related scenarios, pegging, alerts, capacity planning, order integration, and master-data dependencies. ● Collaborate: Support Center of excellence team in the resolution of complex planning and scheduling, available to promise related challenges and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with peers on related integration topic with materials management, inventory, procurement, quality, warehouse, manufacturing execution, and finance. Compliance, validation, and technical controls ● Ensure that technical solutions and changes follow applicable change-control, release-management, testing, documentation, and approval processes. ● Partner with validation, compliance, and cybersecurity stakeholders to determine the appropriate level of assessment for each change. Consider requirements relating to GxP framework, data integrity, audit trails, segregation of duties, security, and controlled access. ● Support the creation and review of technical validation documentation, including system impact assessments, risk assessments, technical specifications, test evidence, traceability, and release records. Integration and interface architecture ● Design, review, and troubleshoot integrations between APO PP/DS, manufacturing execution systems, Network planning application (Blue Yonder), reporting platforms (Palantir) and other connected solutions. ● Analyze and improve interface behavior, message flows, mapping logic, transformation rules, error handling, monitoring capabilities. ● Support investigation and issues resolutions involving CIF integration, EDI messages, BAPIs and other applicable integration mechanisms. ● Work with integration architects and technical teams to resolve cross-system defects and prevent recurring interface failures. Guide Incremental enhancements and change request ● Contribute to the technical assessment and prioritization of the production-planning change request. Estimate technical complexity, dependencies, delivery risks, testing needs, and operational impacts. Promote clean-core principles ● Review technical specifications for enhancements and ensure that acceptance criteria are testable and complete. ● Build and improve test case library in our ALM application ● Ensure that incremental changes remain compatible with the global solution template and reusable across relevant sites. Support and incident resolution ● Act as an escalation point and provide senior-level technical support for complex production-planning and detailed-scheduling incidents that cannot be resolved through by the support organization. ● Reproduce issues where possible and document the conditions, evidence, root cause, workaround, permanent fix, and regression risks. ● Coordinate problem management for recurring or high-impact incidents. ● Improve monitoring, alerting, runbooks, knowledge articles, and operational dashboards for production-planning solutions. Stakeholder and vendor management ● Build trusted relationships with business process owners, production planners, Center of Excellence satellite streams architects, integration teams, validation, and SAP external consultant. ● Facilitate technical workshops, design reviews, troubleshooting sessions, and decision-making meetings. ● Explain technical issues and solution trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders. ● Challenge solution proposals that create unnecessary complexity, fragile dependencies, poor supportability, or divergence from enterprise standards. ● Represent production-planning technical interests in cross-functional architecture and delivery forums. Required qualifications and

experience:
● University degree or equivalent professional experience in computer science, information systems, engineering, supply chain technology, or a related discipline. ● Experience as an SAP solution architect, or senior SAP consultant. ● Strong technical knowledge on APO PPDS and E-PPDS and key satellites module like PP-PI and MM-PUR. ● Experience with SAP deployment, template, transformation or continuous-improvement projects. ● Experience designing, delivering, and supporting SAP integrations across enterprise applications. ● Strong experience of finite-capacity planning, sequence-dependent setup times, campaign constraints, cleaning requirements, shelf-life considerations, and other biopharma scheduling requirements ● Professional fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage where relevant to supported locations. Preferred

qualifications:
● Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment; biopharma, pharmaceutical, medical technology, or another highly regulated environment. ● ABAP literacy and debugging capability, ● Experience with SAP Fiori, OData, CDS views, BAdIs, enhancement frameworks, APIs, or other relevant S/4HANA technologies. ● Experience with IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, web services, APIs, middleware, queues, and interface monitoring. ● Experience with HP ALM platform. ● Experience with Palantir Foundry or comparable big data reporting platforms ● Experience with performance analysis and optimization of planning runs, background jobs, custom code, and integrations.
