About The Role
We're looking for Portuguese language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on Portuguese-language content. Your linguistic insight will directly shape how AI understands, generates, and communicates in Portuguese — making a real impact on one of the world's most widely spoken languages. Location:
Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
Review AI-generated Portuguese translations and original content for accuracy and naturalness Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, register mismatches, or cultural issues Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate Portuguese Provide structured feedback on linguistic and cultural quality Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule Who You Are Native or near-native fluency in Portuguese Strong written communication skills in both Portuguese and English Deep familiarity with Brazilian and/or European Portuguese norms and regional usage Comfortable evaluating written language quality at scale Attention to detail and consistency No prior AI experience required Nice to Have Experience in translation, localization, or content adaptation Familiarity with AI or language evaluation workflows Knowledge of regional Portuguese variations across different markets Why Join Us Work on cutting-edge AI projects with top research labs Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration Contribute to meaningful work that improves AI for Portuguese speakers worldwide Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
