Lead Data Engineer (SQL) at BairesDev
As a Lead Data Engineer (SQL), you will spearhead the development, optimization, and management of robust database systems to power our enterprise applications. You will act as a key technical guide, ensuring high-performance data processing while aligning database strategies with organizational needs.
What You'll Do
Mentor database developers and collaborate with key stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals. Design and document high-performance relational data models and database schemas. Develop, test, and maintain complex database objects including stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Analyze query execution plans to diagnose performance bottlenecks and implement indexing and tuning strategies. Manage database transaction control, ensuring concurrency, data integrity, and proper isolation levels. What We Are Looking For 5+ years of experience in Database Development, Data Engineering, or a related field. Proven expertise in SQL Server development and advanced T-SQL engineering. Strong hands-on experience building complex stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers. Solid understanding of query optimization, performance tuning, and execution plan analysis. Experience with relational data modeling, normalization, and transaction management. Advanced proficiency in English.
