Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, trading operations, or commodity operations.
• Hands-on experience in Brazilian agricultural commodity/grain export operations, particularly soybean and/or corn, is required.
• Practical experience in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), including volume planning, supply/logistics alignment, and coordination with Trading, Commercial and/or Origination teams.
• Experience with physical commodity flows from origin through road/rail, terminals and ports to export/shipment.
• Exposure to port/terminal operations, export documentation and DU-E is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and logistics reporting/tracking tools.
• Intermediate English or above.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the planning and execution of Brazilian grain export logistics, primarily soybean and corn.
• Actively participate in S&OP, aligning commercial/origination volumes with logistics capacity, inventory, delivery schedules and export plans.
• Track daily and weekly volumes, volume positioning, delivery schedules, quotas and plan adherence.
• Monitor physical commodity movements from origin through road/rail, warehouses, terminals and ports.
• Work closely with Trading, Commercial and Origination teams to align supply, sales commitments, available volumes and shipment requirements.
• Support port and terminal planning, including delivery windows, storage/space availability, line-ups and shipment schedules.
• Coordinate with transport providers, terminals, warehouses and other logistics partners.
• Identify potential gaps between planned and actual volumes, logistics capacity and shipment requirements, escalating bottlenecks or risks.
• Support export documentation and customs clearance, including DU-E, as applicable.
• Prepare logistics/S&OP reports, operational trackers, KPIs and dashboards.
• Monitor logistics costs and support Budget vs. Actual analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency, processes and costs.
• Maintain accurate operational data, controls and documentation.
• Provide additional operational support in a growing commodity trading environment.
