Senior Software Engineer – Node.js / AWS Hi everyone I'm currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer for a global technology company. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, and distributed systems, who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and building scalable, high-performance cloud services. What you will be doing:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services supporting complex data processing and streaming.
- Build and operate cloud-based solutions using AWS, particularly ECS, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, and Lambda.
- Improve application performance, scalability, caching, and system reliability.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and WebSocket-based services.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, technical improvements, and code quality.
- Work closely with international engineering teams in an Agile environment. What we're looking for:
- 4–5+ years of professional software development experience, including building and operating production backend services.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js, or solid backend expertise in another language with the ability to quickly adapt to Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, especially ECS and EC2.
- Experience with distributed systems, high-traffic applications, and REST APIs or WebSockets.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and performance optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud deployments.
- Knowledge of software design principles, debugging, and observability practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good English communication skills for collaboration with global teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Nice to have:
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Redis, RocksDB, caching strategies, and streaming technologies.
- Experience with high-performance data processing or 3D visualization systems.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Splunk.
