Position Overview

This position is responsible for designing and implementing financing solutions for customers across the Latin American region, ensuring customers have sufficient financial capacity to procure the company's medical imaging equipment. Working closely with the Latin American sales team, the role aims to drive sales and accelerate receivable collections through well-structured financing offerings, thereby contributing to the Company's business growth in Latin American markets.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Financing Solution Design & Implementation: Identify, analyze, and evaluate customer financing needs across the Latin American region; design standardized or customized financing solutions (including leasing, installment payment plans, accounts receivable financing, etc.); lead negotiations, contract finalization, and implementation of approved financing programs.
  2. Financing Channel Development & Management: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with banks, leasing companies, and financial institutions operating in Latin America; expand local financing channels to ensure customers have access to competitive and market-aligned financing alternatives.
  3. Sales Alignment & Support: Collaborate closely with the Latin American sales team, engaging with customers during the pre-sales stage to provide financing expertise; support deal structuring, credit limit assessments, and overall risk management.
  4. Credit & Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for financing proposals; design executable risk mitigation strategies; ensure compliance with local rules and regulations governing financial activities across Latin America.
  5. Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor the Latin American medical equipment financing market landscape, provide evidence-based recommendations to the regional financing strategy.
  6. Cross-functional Coordination: Work in alignment with headquarters' finance, legal, and compliance teams to secure seamless, fully compliant execution of financing workflows and operational processes.
  7. Receivables Management: Actively liaise with financing clients to support timely and safe collection of receivables; monitor the company's accounts receivable position and coordinate with financial institutions to design and execute strategies for accelerated collection and working capital optimization.
  8. Financial Analysis: Assist in analyzing the operations of the responsible area and outputting business analysis reports. Support the Regional General Manager in finalizing the annual business plan. Maintain familiarity with tax laws of various countries in the responsible area and effectively communicate with tax managers and third parties.


Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or other relevant fields, ideally with a focus on financial services or commercial management.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in financing, financial leasing, or structured financing within or supporting the medical device sector.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior financing experience at top-tier multinational medical imaging companies in Latin America, or candidates with an equivalent role at a Latin American medical equipment leasing or financial institution.
  • Proven track record of leading and successfully executing financing deals from inception to execution, with strong familiarity with the customer credit management processes inherent to medical equipment purchasing within Latin America.

Specialized Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical grasp of financial leasing, structured finance, and other financial workflows, plus experience in solving complex challenges related to transaction documentation.
  • Solid financial analysis capabilities and high competency in risk assessment and mitigation techniques.
  • In-depth understanding of the Latin American financial regulatory landscape (including Latin American financial regulations and country-level compliance requirements) and intrinsic characteristics of the Latin American medical device financing market.
  • Ability to analyze data and communicate effectively with business teams, with demonstrated capability to deeply explore underlying business drivers through data analysis.

Language & Interpersonal Skills

  • English proficiency mandatory as the working language.
  • Proficiency in Chinese is a plus
