DESCRIPTION:
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for Solutions Architects with strong software engineering skills and a passion for architecting and developing solutions to show customers the art of the possible.
You will be part of an agile team of innovative practitioners who are obsessed with understanding the needs of our customers and have the skills to partner with them in experimenting with new ideas that can open up new markets or radically change how they deliver existing products/services.

Key job responsibilities
- Architect, develop, test and implement loosely coupled distributed software solutions.
- Research and deploy up-to-date technological developments in customer engagements.
- Drive the AWS platform by aligning customer requirements with AWS service teams' roadmaps.
- This role will focus on customers using AWS for research, development, and innovation.
- Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white-papers, tutorials, blogs, etc.
- Position requires travel, generally, between 0 - 25%.

About the team
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
