Position: Sonic Audit Specialist - Portuguese Type: Contract Compensation: $25/hour Location: Remote Role Responsibilities Evaluate AI training data in Brazilian Portuguese for accuracy and relevance.
Review multilingual transcription audits by comparing recordings with transcriptions.
Apply error codes and provide clear rationales.
Conduct forced alignment audits by verifying and correcting timestamps and transcriptions at the word level.
Ensure judgments are consistent and well-documented, focusing on careful listening rather than volume.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance.
Qualifications Must-Have Native or near-native command of Portuguese as spoken in Brazil.
Strong English reading and writing skills.
Disciplined rubric application across judgments.
Careful listening skills to distinguish similar sounds.
Preferred Prior experience in AI data annotation, model evaluation, or audio editing.
Background in phonetics or linguistics.
