We are looking for Oracle ERP OTC Functional Consultant, who wants to learn and transform his career.
In this role you will: (responsibilities):Responsible for end-to-end ownership of Oracle Finance solutions, acting as the primary functional and delivery leader for enhancements, projects, and production support within the Finance domain.
This role bridges business strategy and technical execution, ensuring stable operations, continuous improvement, and successful delivery of Oracle-based solutions aligned with Sherwin-Williams standards and business objectives.
Provide technical leadership, functional expertise, and team guidance, supporting regional (LATAM) initiatives, while fostering collaboration, quality, and operational excellence.
The role requires solid knowledge of electronic invoicing processes and regulatory requirements in Mexico, including compliance with local tax authorities and integration with Oracle Financials.
STRATEGY & PLANNINGAct as functional for Oracle Financials enhancements and regulatory-related projects, primarily within AR, in Oracle R12 and/or Oracle Cloud.
Own deliverables end-to-end within assigned scope: business requirements, functional design, configuration, testing support, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
Collaborate with internal IT teams, global stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Perform impact analysis and manage dependencies related to Financials modules, and electronic invoicing processes across Finance and integrated systems.
DELIVERY LEADERSHIP & OWNERSHIPProvide deep functional expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Tax, with working knowledge of additional Oracle Financial modules such as GL, AP, FA, and Cash Management.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle Financials, with emphasis on billing, receivables, tax determination, and fiscal reporting.
Support and validate functional designs related to RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows).
Review and support configuration changes, patches, and regression testing related to Finance processes.
Should have a deep expertise of month-end preparation, all the activities and processes related to month-end close for Accounts Receivable.
Thorough understanding of AR Accounting, reconciliation, and reporting.
Act as an AR Close manager from technology team to track every activity, monitor, and ensure on-time month-end close.
Extensive interaction with users, finance leaders, and controllership is required.
ELECTRONIC INVOICING & TAX COMPLIANCEDemonstrate solid hands‐on knowledge of Mexican electronic invoicing (CFDI), including SAT requirements, legal compliance, business processes, and integration with Oracle Financials.
Support implementation, enhancement, or maintenance of electronic invoicing solutions for Mexico, including validation, error handling, and reconciliation.
Ensure Finance solutions align with local and regional tax regulations and internal compliance standards.
Knowledge of electronic invoicing and tax requirements for other Latin American countries (e.g., Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia) is considered a strong plus.
Oracle functional & technical leadershipProvide advanced functional support for production issues related to financial modules, acting as Tier 3 support when required.
Perform root cause analysis and recommend sustainable solutions for recurring issues.
Support UAT cycles, defect resolution, and post-deployment stabilization activities.
Maintain functional documentation, configurations, and solution artifacts relevant to assigned scope.
QUALITY, CONTROLS & COMPLIANCEEnsure functional solutions meet defined quality standards and business requirements.
Support data integrity, audit readiness, and compliance with internal controls and applicable regulatory requirements.
Validate that tax and invoicing solutions support SOX-related and local compliance needs where applicable.
COLLABORATION & COMMUNICATIONWork closely with Finance users, IT teams, and external vendors to clarify requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Participate in workshops, design sessions, and stakeholder meetings as a functional expert.
Communicate clearly and effectively in a regional (LATAM) and global environment.
Influence decisions through expertise and collaboration, without direct people management responsibility.
