The Role
We are looking for a CTO (Chief Technology Officer) who can provide technical leadership and training for the rest of the tech team.
The ideal applicant will be first and foremost a natural leader and results-driven professional.
Additionally, she or he should have an organized, structured and creative mindset that drives him or her to find innovative solutions to a diverse set of problems, including how to increase the frequency of our releases, how to implement better testing and analytics, and how to treat the data we collect and how to feed it back so our systems can make better decisions.

You have 8 years of experience leading and managing high-performance development teams
You have been in software architecture and development leadership positions
You have successfully developed, deployed and scaled high-quality consumer-facing web and mobile apps
Others are a big plus
You have experience with container environments such as Docker
You have experience with micro services and REST APIs
You have medium to advanced knowledge of a technology stack like our own:
Languages: Ruby, Python, Java, JavaScript, Clojure, SQL
Frameworks: Rails, Sinatra, AngularJS
Paradigms: Agile
Platforms: Cloud Services such as Google Cloud/Kubernetes, AWS, etc.
Database: PostgreSQL, MongoDB
