The purpose of the Power Platform Tech lead is to ensure the smooth functioning of technical operations, monitor and evaluate staff progress, assist with training and recruitment, set goals, and ensure overall client satisfaction using the suite of Microsoft's Power Platform, SharePoint, Dynamics Flow, Microsoft Teams, custom development, and data integrations on the platform.
Expected Skillsets
- Responsible for planning, designing, developing, automations, dashboards, and reports.
- Implement solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform, including Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, RPA and A.I.
- Understanding of Power Apps security capabilities, including Role based authorization.
- Use multiple OOTB Connectors with PowerApps and Flow, and preferably create custom connectors for PowerApps and Microsoft Flow.
- Address and remediate security vulnerability findings in the Platform
- Create documentation for projects including design, asset inventory, diagrams, and presentations as well as documentation of the environment and deployment for our support and future implementations teams.
- Communicate proposed designs and progress on the work to clients, team leads, and team members.
- Support cross-functional project teams consisting of app development, IT operations, and information security
- Provide technical guidance, training, and daily assignments to staff members.
- Champion culture of good security, coding standards, architecture patterns, resiliency, and documentation practices.
- Lead a cross-functional Agile team to understand requirements, do product backlog grooming, sprint planning, execution, and retrospective.
Expected Experience**
- Minimum 5 years of development experience and 2+ years of experience in PowerApps
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or any related field
- Microsoft Certification in PowerApps will be an added advantage
- Adept at leveraging new approaches to solutions for system design and functionality.
- Good Experience in development of Business process Flow and Automation Designing.
