We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Routing & Logistics Specialist/Dispatcher to manage and optimize daily transportation and dispatch operations. This role goes beyond customer service—it focuses on real-time logistics execution, load coordination, route tracking, and operational problem-solving.
This role starts part-time during taining and then becomes full time. Schedule flexibiliry is required as dispatchers work different schedules weekends included.
Employment Structure
- Training Period: Part-time
- Compensation (Training): $800/month
- Post-Training: Transition to full-time based on performance salary $1,700 - $1,800/month
- Schedule: Shift-based (may include evenings, nights, and weekends)
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor shipments, routes, and delivery schedules in real time
- Assign loads and communicate with drivers to ensure efficient operations
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or disruptions
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, issues, and operational updates
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, planning, customer support)
- Optimize routes and resource allocation to improve efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and logistics best practices
What This Role Is NOT
- Not purely customer service
- Not limited to answering calls or emails
- Heavily focused on operations, coordination, and decision-making in logistics
Requirements
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer proficiency (Excel, tracking systems, or similar tools)
- Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends or nights
- Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, or transportation is a plus (not required)
