We are looking for a skilled Global Payroll and Compensation Manager to join our Finance team and take ownership of global payroll and compensation operations for employees and contractors.
This role is critical to ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll execution while supporting the company’s financial operations in a fully remote, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end global payroll processes for employees and contractors as part of the Finance function
- Ensure accurate calculation and timely payment of salaries, bonuses, reimbursements, and other compensation components
- Review and validate time-tracking data prior to payroll processing
- Coordinate, review, and approve benefits-related requests in collaboration with HR and external providers
- Process payroll-related payments via banks and international payment systems
- Partner with EOR providers to manage payroll operations across multiple countries
- Act as a key Finance team contact for payroll and compensation-related inquiries
- Ensure payroll data accuracy, proper documentation, and confidentiality
- Support financial reporting by providing payroll-related data and reconciliations
- Collaborate closely with Legal, HR, and external partners to improve payroll and compensation processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in payroll, compensation, or finance-related roles
- Proven experience managing payroll for employees and contractors
- Solid understanding of payroll processes within a Finance function
- Experience working with banks and international payment systems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
Nice to Have
- Experience working with EOR (Employer of Record) services
- Background in EOR and recruitment services
- Experience using QuickBooks
- Experience supporting payroll in global, remote-first companies
