Project Context
We have an opportunity to work on a Data Analytics project with an international scope. The role requires proficiency in Turkish and advanced English and involves Analytics Engineering initiatives focused on Power BI, as well as the migration of dashboards and analytical solutions from Tableau to Microsoft technologies.
Contract Information
- Contractor (PJ) agreement.
- Initial contract duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Hard Skills
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Power BI.
- Strong proficiency in DAX.
- Experience with Power Query / M.
- Experience with dimensional data modeling.
- Knowledge of Star Schema.
- Experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Knowledge of Power BI model performance and optimization.
- Knowledge of security concepts and Row-Level Security (RLS).
- Experience working with large volumes of data.
- Practical knowledge of Tableau.
- Ability to understand dashboards and business rules developed in Tableau.
- Knowledge of Tableau Calculated Fields.
- Knowledge of Parameters, Filters, and LOD Expressions.
- Knowledge of Tableau Extracts and Data Sources.
- Experience or knowledge of Tableau-to-Power BI migration projects.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL.

Responsibilities & Scope
- Analyze existing Tableau dashboards, workbooks, and data sources.
- Review Tableau files, including .twb and .twbx files.
- Map and document: Dashboards, Worksheets, Calculated Fields, Parameters, Filters, Extracts, LOD Expressions, Data Sources, and security rules.
- Identify dependencies between dashboards, data sources, and business rules.
- Convert Tableau dashboards to Power BI.
- Develop and optimize semantic models in Power BI.
- Create measures and business logic using DAX.
- Develop data transformations using Power Query / M.
- Reproduce existing Tableau calculations in Power BI.
- Translate Tableau concepts, such as Calculated Fields, Parameters, and LOD Expressions, into equivalent Power BI solutions.
- Implement best practices for dimensional modeling and Star Schema.
- Work with Import Mode, DirectQuery, and other Power BI connectivity strategies.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) when required.
- Validate Power BI results by comparing them with existing Tableau dashboards.
- Perform functional and performance testing.
- Optimize reports, models, and queries.
- Publish and manage content in Power BI Service.
- Support users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Go-Live.
- Document dashboards, business rules, measures, data sources, and migrated processes.
- Participate in technical and functional meetings with international teams.
