Position Details

Job Title: Antenna Sales Manager

Department: Sales — Latin America

Reports To: Regional Sales Director, LATAM

Location: Brazil or Mexico — supporting the LATAM region

Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Remote (home-office based, customer-facing)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Travel Required: Up to [40–50]% across the LATAM territory


Role Objective

Maximize Quectel’s LATAM market share and revenue for antenna products by developing new customers and verticals, accelerating antenna design wins, and enabling Regional Sales Managers to expand antenna penetration within the existing customer base.


Primary Responsibilities

Market Growth & New Business

  • Own LATAM growth for Quectel antenna products and solutions, with a strong focus on new customer acquisition, new verticals, and share expansion.
  • Build and actively hunt a prioritized funnel of target accounts with clear next actions, opportunity value, and design-win potential.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities within the existing Quectel customer base and partner with RSMs to position antennas alongside modules and connectivity solutions.
  • Develop account strategies for OEMs, ODMs, and EMS providers whose products require cellular, GNSS, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, or combination antennas.

Customer & Design-Win Development

  • Understand customer applications, RF/connectivity requirements, and program timing, and coordinate the right antenna solution.
  • Track antenna evaluations, samples, technical discussions, qualifications, and design-in/design-win progress through the regional funnel.
  • Initiate and schedule customer roadmap meetings to identify future programs and influence antenna selection early in the design cycle.
  • Maintain strong follow-up with prospects and customers from initial opportunity through technical evaluation and commercial conversion.

Sales Enablement & Channel Development

  • Train Regional Sales Managers, representative firms, and distributors on Quectel antenna positioning, target applications, and sales messages.
  • Create account-specific selling strategies and support local teams in advancing antenna opportunities.
  • Provide competitive and market insights that help the wider sales organization win antenna business.

Product & Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Management and technical teams on customer requirements, product fit, competitive gaps, and future roadmap needs.
  • Translate market feedback into actionable input for product planning and commercial strategy.
  • Coordinate internal resources to move strategic opportunities through evaluation and decision stages.

CRM, Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Maintain accurate and current account, opportunity, and activity information in Salesforce CRM.
  • Prepare a monthly LATAM business review covering pipeline, leads, technical evaluations, meetings, risks, and next steps.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, target verticals, and major customer programs relevant to antenna growth in LATAM.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to identify target accounts and capture qualified contacts for follow-up.


Qualifications & Experience

What we are looking for

  • [5]+ years of demonstrated success in B2B technical sales, business development, or segment sales within antennas, RF components, wireless connectivity, IoT hardware, or a closely related field.
  • Strong ability to prospect, build pipeline, develop new accounts, and drive opportunities toward design wins and revenue.
  • Working understanding of customer design cycles and what it takes to win embedded hardware business.
  • Comfort discussing antenna use cases across cellular, GNSS, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, and connected-device applications.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills across a multi-country sales region.
  • Hands-on CRM discipline and clear funnel and business-review reporting.
  • Fluent Portuguese and/or Spanish, plus professional working English.
  • Willingness to travel across LATAM for customer meetings, partner development, and industry events.

Preferred background

  • Experience selling antennas, RF solutions, IoT modules, or related components to OEM/ODM/EMS customers.
  • Existing relationships within LATAM IoT, industrial, telematics, or tracking ecosystems.
  • Experience supporting distributors, representative firms, or channel partners.
  • Ability to collaborate with Product Management, FAE, and engineering teams on technical evaluations.
