iQIYI International is a global digital entertainment platform focused on Asian dramas, films, animation, variety shows and other content for international audiences. In Brazil and Latin America, we are building partnerships with leading media, telecom, digital platforms and brands to make Asian entertainment more accessible to local audiences.
Role purpose
Support iQIYI’s expansion in Brazil and Latin America by prospecting, developing and coordinating commercial and marketing partnerships. The role requires the ability to independently organize priorities, lead meetings, prepare proposals, follow up on opportunities and coordinate projects with external partners and internal teams in Brazil, Canada and Asia, without constant supervision.
Key responsibilities
1. Business Development & Partnerships – approximately 70%
- Map, prospect and develop relationships with private and public free-to-air broadcasters, telecommunications operators, digital and OTT platforms, distributors, technology companies, payment providers, retailers, consumer brands and other strategic partners.
- Build and maintain an organized pipeline of potential partners in Brazil and other Latin American markets, documenting contacts, opportunity stages, next steps, risks and timelines.
- Prepare presentations, commercial proposals, preliminary partnership models, meeting minutes, progress reports and decision-support materials.
- Lead initial meetings, identify partner needs and develop value propositions suited to different cooperation models.
- Support negotiations involving content distribution, licensing, revenue sharing, subscription bundles, media/barter, co-marketing, customer benefits, promotions and other commercial models.
- Negotiate commercial terms within approved parameters and coordinate validation with the Country Manager and relevant iQIYI functions; final approvals and signatures remain with management and headquarters.
- Coordinate the progress of opportunities with internal content, marketing, product, technology, legal, finance, operations and other teams in Brazil, Canada and Asia.
- Support partnership implementation after approval, ensuring alignment on scope, deliverables, timelines and performance indicators.
- Conduct research on markets, competitors, potential partners and trends across streaming, television, telecommunications and entertainment in Latin America.
- Represent iQIYI in partner meetings, industry events and business visits, with availability for occasional travel within Brazil and Latin America.
2. Marketing Partnerships – approximately 30%
- Identify and structure marketing opportunities with commercial partners to promote the iQIYI brand, priority content launches and subscription offers.
- Plan and coordinate co-marketing initiatives, partner campaigns, events, activations, content promotion and online/offline promotional projects.
- Adapt global briefs and materials to the needs of Brazil and other Latin American markets, ensuring local relevance and compliance with brand guidelines.
- Coordinate deliverables with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, agencies, public relations teams, influencers and vendors when applicable.
- Track execution and results, gather evidence of delivery and prepare reports with learnings and recommendations.
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, commercial roles, partnership marketing or related functions.
- Hands-on experience in B2B prospecting, relationship management, proposal preparation and follow-up of negotiations or partner projects.
- Fluent or native Portuguese.
- Professional English, with the ability to participate in meetings, prepare presentations and communicate with international teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, set priorities, meet deadlines and keep stakeholders informed.
- Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, organization and relationship-building skills.
- Availability to collaborate across time zones and travel occasionally within Brazil and Latin America.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, International Relations, Economics or a related field.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint/Google Slides and Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with CRM and project-management tools is preferred.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in streaming, entertainment, television, media, telecommunications, technology or digital platforms.
- Professional Spanish for communication with partners across Latin America.
- Existing relationships with broadcasters, telecom opera
