Homologation Manager

As the Homologation Manager, you will drive the manufacturing plant excellence by bridging technical precision with strict Brazilian regulatory compliance. You will directly manage structural Bills of Materials (BOM) data integrity while governing critical PPB (Basic Productive Process) and SUFRAMA fiscal requirements to secure essential tax incentives for the facility. By collaborating across engineering, logistics, and finance teams, the position actively eliminates assembly line bottlenecks, enforces rigorous quality control standards, and optimizes operational efficiency to maintain uninterrupted, compliant production.

• Manage motorcycle homologation, certification and product regulatory compliance activities in Brazil.
• Coordinate with INMETRO, SENATRAN, IBAMA, SUFRAMA, certification bodies, laboratories and other relevant authorities as applicable.
• Maintain homologation certificates, technical dossiers, test reports, regulatory submissions and compliance records.
• Ensure BOM, product configuration and technical documentation remain aligned with homologated specifications.
• Manage PPB and SUFRAMA compliance, including manufacturing-process documentation, local-production requirements, material-flow records and applicable reporting.
• Monitor BOM, sourcing, production and supply-chain data to identify PPB/SUFRAMA compliance risks and support continued eligibility for applicable ZFM incentives.
• Review ECO/ECN changes for regulatory, homologation, BOM, PPB and production-compliance impact before implementation.
• Coordinate Conformity of Production (COP) activities and ensure production remains consistent with approved product specifications.
• Coordinate applicable emission, noise, braking, electrical, functional and other regulatory testing.
• Work cross-functionally with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain and Finance.
• Lead preparation for regulatory, homologation, COP and internal audits, including corrective-action closure.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on current and future motorcycle products.
• Establish compliance KPIs and dashboards covering homologation status, certification validity, PPB/SUFRAMA compliance, COP and regulatory actions.
• Train relevant functions on homologation, product compliance, PPB and SUFRAMA requirements.
• Support new-model introduction, industrialization and production launch from a regulatory-compliance perspective.
• Drive continuous improvement, digitalization and robust governance of the homologation and product-compliance process.

Qualifications/ Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or technical qualification relevant to the role. You must hold an engineering certification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in relevant field
• Experience in Automotive industry, preferably motorcycle.
• Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems preferred.
