Role Overview

The BIM Electrical Engineer supports the development, coordination, and delivery of electrical (LV and ELV) BIM/Revit models for hyperscale and colocation data center projects. Working within CTS's São Paulo engineering hub, the role bridges electrical engineering knowledge with BIM modelling and coordination practice — ensuring electrical models are accurate, clash-free, and aligned with project standards, client requirements, and applicable codes.

The scope and level of ownership vary by experience band, from supporting model development under supervision (Junior), to owning electrical model delivery end-to-end (Intermediate), to defining BIM strategy and holding technical sign-off authority for the electrical discipline (Senior). This is an opportunity to build specialist expertise in electrical BIM coordination within a fast-track, multidisciplinary project environment, alongside experienced engineers across CTS's global project portfolio.

  • Assist/ develop and maintain electrical model content in line with the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP), LOD requirements, and ISO 19650 standards.
  • Produce coordinated electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, containment layouts, schedules, and model-based deliverables.
  • Assist/ coordinate electrical model interfaces with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams to ensure constructible, clash-free outputs.
  • Assist/ Review vendor and OEM technical submittals for electrical equipment reflected in the BIM model.
  • Support integrated design reviews, coordination meetings, and commissioning activities.
