We’re now looking for a tech-savvy, organized, and people-focused HR Specialist to join our remote team. Please be informed that this is a contractor position and we will require your CNPJ. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced HR professional who values autonomy, flexibility, and performance-based rewards. You’ll work directly with clients, support their day-to-day people operations, and leverage technology to deliver efficient, practical, and high-quality HR support.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide day-to-day HR support for assigned clients, acting as an extension of their internal team and primary point of contact for HR-related matters.
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee changes, leave, offboarding, and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Support clients with HR administration, policies, procedures, employee communications, and general HR questions.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, including HRIS setup, employment documentation, I-9 and W-4 processes, benefits enrollment, and onboarding materials.
  • Support recruiting activities, including job descriptions, candidate communications, interview coordination, offers, and pre-employment processes.
  • Assist managers and employees with employee relations matters, workplace concerns, performance issues, and policy questions.
  • Support and document employee relations matters and workplace investigations, escalating complex or sensitive issues when appropriate.
  • Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, employee communications, and coordination with benefits providers and brokers.
  • Maintain and update employee handbooks, HR policies, forms, templates, and other HR documentation.
  • Research and support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements.
  • Coordinate with external payroll, benefits, accounting, legal, and other professional service providers as needed.
  • Manage and maintain HRIS systems and workflow platforms.
  • Communicate with clients and team members through various communication channels like Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace.
  • Use Asana and Everhour to track projects, deliverables, client requests, and timelines.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve HR processes, automate administrative tasks, and increase efficiency.
  • Develop clear employee-facing communications, manager resources, training materials, and HR guides.
  • Ensure HR work is accurate, timely, confidential, and aligned with Aerial Core’s quality expectations.


What We’re Looking For
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong knowledge of day-to-day HR processes and the employee lifecycle.
  • Experience supporting employee relations and handling confidential employee matters with discretion.
  • Strong understanding of HR administration, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and HR policies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple clients and priorities independently.
  • Flexibility around working hours, with the understanding that some tasks may require availability during US business hours (mainly Pacific Time).
  • Comfortable working directly with clients and providing professional, practical HR guidance.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment using digital tools.
