Type: 12 Month Contract (High Possibility for extension)

Rate: $25/hr USD - $30/hr USD

Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Guidewire Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support ongoing digital transformation initiatives at a Canadian owned commercial insurance organization. This individual will act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and ensuring successful delivery of Guidewire-based solutions that align with organizational objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities will include leading requirements gathering sessions, creating business and functional documentation, facilitating Agile ceremonies, supporting project planning activities, and collaborating closely with development teams throughout the SDLC. The successful candidate will have prior experience supporting Guidewire implementations, strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, and the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable technical requirements. This is a fully remote opportunity supporting a Canadian-based team and requires availability during core Mountain Time business hours.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience delivering IT projects as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst
- 1+ year of experience working in insurance
- Experience supporting Guidewire implementations, including PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter
- Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies, SDLC processes, and project delivery frameworks
- Experience working with Jira and Confluence
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Visio, Excel, SharePoint, OneNote, OneDrive, and Outlook
- Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams
- Guidewire Associate Certification (required)
- CBAP certification and/or IIBA certification
Nice to Have
- Experience within the Financial Services industry
- Commercial Insurance industry experience
- Experience supporting large-scale Guidewire transformation programs
- Strong facilitation and workshop leadership skills
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment
