About us
link2pump is a rapidly growing technology company helping fleet-dependent and fuel-intensive organizations gain greater visibility and control over their fueling operations.
Our platform connects critical operational data, including pump transactions, fuel inventory, drivers, vehicles, and equipment, giving customers a more efficient and reliable way to manage their operations, reduce losses, and make better business decisions.
As we continue expanding across the United States, we are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our sales organization and help create a qualified pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting.
About the Role
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, finding the right decision-makers within those organizations, initiating conversations, and scheduling qualified discovery meetings for our Account Executives.
This is a hands-on outbound sales role for someone who knows how to research target accounts, navigate organizations, engage prospects through cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn, networking, and other outbound strategies, and create interest in a deeper business conversation.
The ideal candidate is a proactive new-business hunter who is comfortable creating opportunities rather than relying exclusively on inbound leads. Success in this position requires curiosity, resilience, strong communication skills, consistent follow-through, and the ability to connect a prospect’s operational challenges to the value link2pump provides.

-
Execute consistent multichannel outbound outreach through cold calls, personalized emails, LinkedIn engagement, networking, referrals, events, and coordinated campaigns.

Personalize messaging based on each prospect’s industry, responsibilities, operating environment, and potential business needs.
-
Clearly communicate how link2pump helps organizations improve fuel visibility, accountability, inventory control, reporting, and cost management.
-
Ask relevant initial questions to determine whether a prospect fits link2pump’s ideal customer profile and has a potential operational or financial need.
-
Handle common objections confidently and professionally while creating interest in a deeper conversation.
-
Schedule qualified discovery meetings between prospective customers and Account Executives.
-
Provide Account Executives with a complete handoff, including company research, contact information, identified challenges, current processes, relevant stakeholders, and other important context.
-
Work closely with Account Executives, who will conduct discovery and make the final determination as to whether each meeting represents a qualified sales opportunity.
-
Develop and maintain follow-up strategies for prospects who may be interested but are not yet ready to schedule a meeting.
-
Maintain complete and accurate prospect, contact, activity, conversation, disposition, and next-step information in the company’s CRM.
-
Follow established outbound sequences, prospecting expectations, qualification standards, and CRM requirements.
-
Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly goals for outbound activity, qualified meetings, AE-validated opportunities, and sourced pipeline.
-
Work closely with assigned Account Executives to identify target accounts, improve outbound messaging, and develop qualified pipeline.
-
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Operations, and leadership on campaigns, account strategies, market feedback, and sales-process improvements.
-
Share recurring objections, competitive information, customer feedback, and market insights with the broader commercial team.
