Accounts Receivable & Customer Success Specialist
Location: Remote, Brazil
Engagement: Long-Term Independent Contractor
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, aligned with U.S. Eastern Time
Contract Fee: US$2,200–US$2,700 per month (approximately R$11,350–R$13,930), depending on experience
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable & Customer Success Specialist to support finance, customer renewals and wider business operations within an AI-first SaaS company.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role requiring strong organisation, accuracy, ownership and customer communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage invoicing, collections, payments, account reconciliations and outstanding balances.
- Communicate with customers regarding invoices, purchase orders, payments and billing queries.
- Support customer renewals from quotation through to payment.
- Maintain accurate billing, customer and revenue records in QuickBooks Online, HubSpot and internal systems.
- Assist with customer reporting, meetings, follow-ups and business reviews.
- Support Finance, Customer Success, Sales and wider operational projects.
- Use AI and automation tools to improve accuracy, productivity and business processes.
Essential Requirements
- At least four years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, collections or financial operations.
- Intermediate to advanced QuickBooks Online experience.
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables and reconciliations.
- Experience managing invoices, collections, aging reports and payment follow-up.
- Experience communicating directly with customers and Accounts Payable teams.
- Excellent written and spoken business English.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience using CRM platforms; HubSpot is preferred.
- Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude or Gemini.
- Availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
- Legal ability to provide contractor services and issue invoices in Brazil.
Desirable Experience
- Experience supporting a U.S.-based business remotely.
- Background in B2B SaaS, software or enterprise technology.
- Experience with customer renewals, subscription billing or contract administration.
- Familiarity with platforms such as ConnectWise, Trello, Box, Ariba or Coupa.
- Experience creating automated workflows or AI-enabled business processes.
This is an independent contractor engagement. The contractor will be responsible for their own taxes, business registration, equipment, insurance and other costs associated with providing services from Brazil.
