What You'll Do
(Removal Defense Focus)
- Support EOIR litigation by preparing filings, motions, briefs, and applications for relief (asylum, cancellation, waivers, adjustment, etc.).
- Draft client declarations and gather evidence for high‐stakes court submissions.
- Manage a removal‐defense caseload, track deadlines, and maintain accurate case records.
- Prepare hearing packets, organize exhibits, and assist attorneys with trial preparation.
- Communicate with clients—often in emotionally sensitive situations—to collect facts and provide updates.
- Coordinate with interpreters, experts, and agencies to support case strategy.
- Prepare and file USCIS petitions for clients with mixed EOIR/USCIS matters. What We're Looking For Hard Skills
- Fluent in English + Spanish or Portuguese.
- 3 years experience in with end to end removal defense (need experience with litigation).
- Strong legal writing, research, and evidence‐gathering skills.
- Highly organized and detail‐oriented with the ability to manage a heavy caseload.
- Tech‐savvy and fully equipped for remote work (computer, internet, private workspace, noise‐canceling headphones). Soft Skills

- 3 + years of immigration paralegal experience.
- Experience with both EOIR and USCIS filings.
