Location: Remote (EST Time zone)
Salary Range: up to 2500 USD plus commissions

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. This individual will be responsible for leading sales efforts across our media properties, focusing on closing deals and sourcing new business opportunities through outbound prospecting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the media industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals across our B2B media publications.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, including cold calling, emailing, and networking.
  • Identify potential clients and decision-makers within target industries.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored advertising solutions.

Account Management:

  • Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Work closely with clients to develop and execute effective advertising campaigns.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and performance metrics.

Collaboration and Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the marketing and editorial teams to align sales strategies with content initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the media or advertising industry.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and business development.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in sales outreach tools and major CRMs such as HubSpot.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in B2B ad sales.
