We seek a Senior Public Relations Analyst who believes as much as we do in the power of good stories and a well-crafted PR strategy to drive business results and to communicate the EBANX mission and solutions. As a PR Analyst SR at EBANX, you will have the opportunity to work with PR in different regions connected to the company's business strategy, working closely with the C-suite, VPs, and other key spokespeople and stakeholders, and cross-functionally with different teams at EBANX.

You will have an important role in the Global PR team of EBANX, helping to tell EBANX's stories through the press in different regions: North America, the UK, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. We look to connect with the traditional, top-tier press worldwide, as well as with the trade and new media, in many different formats.

You will help to tell all the storiesfrom the institutional ones to the product and tech innovation ones, the ones about strategic partnerships, new clients, social and educational projects, and internal initiatives, among others. Always connecting them to the needs and interests of the press in each regiona really inspiring challenge.

You will also be responsible for:

Planning and execution of PR on a global scale:  roadmap and calendar of PR stories and main projects and deliverables (EBANX annual summit, EBANX's annual study Beyond Borders, etc), considering the needs of the company and of the press in each region we do PR. Partner agency management: EBANX has a team of external partners who help us do PR across regions. The PR Analyst SR will coordinate this team of partners through periodic meetings, and status reports, and provide them with key insights and information. Media relations and press office on a global scale:  build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and journalists in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America, in traditional media outlets as well as the new media and the trade media. The goal is to keep the channel open with those stakeholders, for active pitches as well as reactive ones. You will also be responsible for answering media inquiries and coordinating for interviews to happen: communications with the journalist, with the agencies, with the spokesperson, creating briefing docs and talking points, prepping the spokesperson, and so on. Creating compelling stories:  using internal data of EBANX, external market data, clients' and partners' announcements, the PR Analyst SR will create compelling stories for the press, and share this with the partner agencies when needed. Work cross-functionally within teams for stories and alignments: on the lookout for good stories to tell, you will work with other teams, such as Market Studies, Product Marketing, Product, Operations, Merchant Success, Business Development, People, and others, to identify data and insights, and to put together stories for the press. You will also work closely with other teams to guarantee message and calendar alignments, and a broader reach of our PR results within the company. Messaging program and Spokespeople program: You will work to maintain alignment of the company's key messages. You will also manage the spokespeople program by prepping executives for interviews, managing the media training calendar, and supporting the content. Producing content for PR:  we believe a thorough briefing doc goes a long way for a consistent media relations and spokespeople program. This is why our briefing docs are deep. You will produce and also support in building these documents, as well as press releases, written interviews, ghost writing, among other formats. Reporting:  you will build high-level and deep reports of PR impact, using monitoring tools and with help from the Global PR team. Crisis communications:  the job also encompasses support and planning in crisis communications when needed, as well as alignments with stakeholders and action plans.

Main requirements for this position:

Proven experience as a PR Analyst SR (in-house or agency), or as a newsroom journalist. Minimum of 6 years; Experience in media relations; Experience in project management and execution of PR campaigns and initiatives; Communication & PR planning skills; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Excellent English skills in listening, writing, and speaking (the job requires you to communicate with internal and external stakeholders around the world, and English is the primary language); Ability to analyze data and transform them into compelling story pitches; Fast decision-making process and ability to re-prioritize when needed; Pro-active mindset.

What else would we like to see? 

Experience with PR for the Finance sector, or covering the Financial sector for a press outlet is a plus; We are a data-driven PR team, so data is always foundational to our stories. Experience with programming languages that help analyze data, is a plus; Spanish skills in listening, writing, and speaking is a plus.
