You will become part of an innovative and dynamic team of 10 colleagues creating and promoting learning. 

Learning Lab facilitates the global learning community Fabo that right now counts 30 member organisations (you can read more on ). In your internship, you will get a unique opportunity to assist and work together with several national and international humanitarian and development organisations in our community.

Your primary task during the internship will be to assist with the management of the ACT Advocacy Academy, a blended learning training on advocacy for ACT member organisations and partners. As a natural part of this task, your knowledge and skills in advocacy will be strengthened, as you will participate in all webinars throughout the training. The internship is versatile and just as we expect you to want to learn from us - we want to learn from you as well. Below you will find some more details.

General tasks and responsibilities will include:  

Management assistance related to the ACT Advocacy Academy: Helping out with planning lectures, coordination with facilitators and coaches, communication with participants, participation in webinars, monitoring and evaluation and much more Project assistance related to learning activities: Research, development, quality assurance, reporting, copy writing and learning administration  Assist with planning and execution of our Fabo Community Events, which come in varying forms and are carried out digitally  Support in shaping and improving the existing learning platform. Including, but not limited to, improving user experience and user interface of our technological solutions  Assistance to and collaboration with Fabo members and the Fabo Community in general  Contributing to the writing and research of our newsletter  Turning different types of content into guides and templates for the Fabo community Other administrative assignments and ad hoc tasks  If you have any other relevant competences, we are very open to get those into play as well

As our future intern you will contribute by:  

Being engaged, positive and proactive with your given tasks  Daring to contribute with suggestions on how to solve various challenges  Working determinedly and concentrated  Bringing your previous experience into your tasks

We expect that:  

You are enrolled in a relevant study programme that provides you with competences and abilities that enable you to take on the above tasks. Knowledge or experience with learning, communication or digital technology is an advantage  You possess the ability to work comfortably with written and spoken English (our primary working language is English). Proficiency in Spanish, Arabic, French or Danish is an advantage  You have a high level of digital literacy – we have a ‘blended approach’ to learning and the use of technology and digital solutions are highly integrated into our work
