Responsibilities

Review the accounting reconciliations, checking if the accounting balances are consistent with the support files; Assistance to internal and external audits, meet the demands of tax authorities, sending explanations and any necessary documentation, in addition, be responsible for the filling out requests to Public Agencies or local authorities; Perform the monthly closing of accounting, tax and financial procedures and routines, ensuring the correct accounting classification and proper use of cost centers. Reconciling the statutory and managerial books; Monitoring of tax lawsuits and provide update status; Coordinate/Review the delivery of accessory accounting and tax obligations; Control Debit Clearance Certificate and all other necessary documentation for public bids; Sending management reports to the headquarters, analyzing the information and provide the necessary comments on the main variations; Coordinate the tests in SAP, due to the implementation of improvements, system revisions or new versions. Opening and monitoring of calls with the Corporate IT area, making the necessary follow-ups; Prepare spreadsheets and various controls in Excel, analytical reports, in order to meet the diverse demands for information; Provide any information requested by Region or Corporate team; Monitor changes in Accounting/Tax legislation. Lead and train the Accountant team to better perform the routines and activities.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience with Accounting and Tax routines. Experience of at least 5 years with the sending of management reports to the headquarter; Graduated in Accounting with active CRC, desirable MBA; Fluent in English; Advanced level as an Excel user, desirable knowledge of VBA; Desirable knowledge of Power BI; Solid knowledge of SAP, preferable experience as a key user; Knowledge of Mastersaf / DW; Action orientation and self-driven for results; Good communication and presentation skills; Good organization / planning / time management skills; Strong interpersonal skills and a good listener; Strong technical background in Tax & Accounting; Developed Leadership skill.
