As a Senior Sales Manager you will lead the most important Profit & Loss Statement in Brazil for the Direct Sales at Surgical Innovations’ business, understanding the impact of prices on profitability and using appropriate metrics to measure the performance of products on the market. You will be connected with OPME (Ortheses, Prostheses and Special Materials) and general surgery sales, managing and developing a strong and large team for all Brazilian territory coverage.

At Medtronic you will work in a competitive environment and will be part of a relevant market, understanding trends that affect the products for which you are responsible for and their related procedures. Together with your team, you can optimize the effectiveness of your product portfolio in the market by understanding the demands of each customer including the public segment, private and strategic accounts.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Assuming this role you will:

·Directly contribute to the attainment of financial and operational Profit & Loss budget and goals within the Surgical business unit, supporting the company's overall financial and strategic objectives as a leader for the customer demands.

·Ensure the sales strategies are aligned to the marketing strategies and do all the implementation needed, being responsible for short- and long-range objectives and criteria for monitoring progress and measuring success through Business Intelligence management and salesforce and sales efficiency leadership.

·Be involved in the pricing and portfolio mix management, supporting the field, sales and customer needs. You will also support offers and customers presentations and meetings.

·Oversee new product/market introductions, sales training programs, Global Operation Unit´s and Headquarter visits.

·Support key surgeons/key account visits, attendance in congresses and meetings.

·Provide strategy and direction for ongoing business development, implementation of marketing plans, development of sales and market development objectives and tools, bringing positive results and growth for the business in the region.

Must Haves

Bachelors’ degree completed Fluent English Minimum of 10 years of relevant sales experience in the Healthcare market Experience with people management, in a minimum of 5 years Great capability to use PowerPoint and Excel tools Great knowledge about Salesforce.com Driver’s license (B)

Nice to haves:

Advanced degree in related area. Spanish
