DBA at BairesDev

As a DBA, you will be responsible for the health and performance of our production database environments. You will ensure data integrity and availability across various database technologies, providing a stable foundation for our applications to thrive.

What You'll Do

• Install, configure, and maintain production database instances to ensure optimal uptime.
• Perform advanced query optimization and performance tuning to handle high-concurrency workloads.
• Design and implement robust backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical business data.
• Manage database replication and high availability architectures to minimize potential downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define database schemas and best practices for data storage.
• Monitor system health proactively to identify and resolve bottlenecks before they impact users.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Database Administration or Systems Engineering.
• Proven expertise in operating and tuning production database systems like SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL.
• Advanced proficiency in T-SQL or PLSQL for database development and administration.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning, backup strategies, and replication.
• Deep understanding of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
