The role provides critical support and guidance to the Regional Pursuit Leaders, to aid in the development of proposals for the supply of the full range of Baker Hughes Subsea Production Systems (SPS).
As SPS Proposals Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Anchoring our Capture Plan strategy with standard/preferred product offerings and execution strategies, providing the link to our Product Line Fulfilment Centers, coordinating all inputs to our proposals and gaining necessary approvals.
- Providing support to Product Line initiatives and to development of Fulfilment Center execution strategy, with ownership of Bid to Execute process governance.
- Driving Costing & Engineering teams for all relevant Product Line inputs to a pursuit, ensuring alignment to proposals requirements, bidding strategy etc
- Driving closer alignment of our offerings across the system, in partnership with the Engineering and Systems & Technology groups.
- Identifying risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies and interacting with key stakeholders as required to ensure they are adequately socialized and managed.
- Supporting and providing input into price benchmarking process (cost benchmarking owned by costing CoE).
- Advising on any Commercial matters that could influence the bid strategy and support the Sales and Commercial team in delivering the proposal in accordance with the agreed strategy.
- Have a Masters Degree from an accredited University
- Understanding customer drivers and Proposals requirements and translate these into actionable and winning opportunity strategies
**Fuel your passion**
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or other technical or business-related field
- Have proven experience in SPS within: commercial proposals, Sales, Contracts, Project Management, Sourcing, Finance or Cost Estimation.
- Show ability to mobilize, influence and lead cross-functional teams to execute a complex pursuit strategy.
- Have deep domain knowledge of Subsea industry environment and market participants
- Have strong knowledge and experience in cost estimating, budgeting and pricing.
- Have strong oral and written communication skills, including strong ability to present clearly to Senior Leaders.
- Be fluent in English and Portuguese
